Day 3

That Bleeding Peacock was meeowing all night!!! Anyway we were still up and out sharpish and set a course for Okehampton for lunch with Robbo in his favourite position, behind the wheel driving and arranging our days promo activity. One amusing aside was the sign outside the pub designed like something out of Disney with a big sign which read "NO CHILDREN ALLOWED!!. After a few phone calls we had arranged to meet with the retained boys and girls at Tiverton who looked after us well and seemed genuinely interested in the Games. Lunch in Okehampton was different and we were amazed at the interest the locals showed towards our state of the art technology, or a laptop to me and you!!!!

Robbo managed to move his backside from behind the wheel for the last leg, the 21 miler into Taunton. It was like Davey Fairclough coming on for the last 10 mins against St Etienne and he immediately breathed new life into the withering peleton and upped the average speed by at least 0.000006 mph as we triggered numerous speed cameras on the way.

Great to see you guys in Taunton yesterday. What youre trying to do is incredible and I hope the rain stays away and the wind behind you. I think you might be about to see real hills now youre in Wales.
Good Luck!

Glad to see you guys are gradually clawing you way up North, the weather has given you a bit of a pounding but just be thankful your skins waterproof.

Send Matty across the Toll Bridge he'll only pay half price with his boyish looks.

Robo new what he was doing when he said he was bailing out at Clitheroe!! Kirkstone pass is looming large and there won't be any conversation going over that !!!! you'll be to busy trying to breath!!

Guy's already getting plenty of practise on Parbold hill, I think he's going for the King of the Mountains leaders jersey!!

Keep up the good work and I'll see you Saturday...
